Retired veteran born and raised in the area. The Ash Riviera is the result of my dream of being self-employed in the tourist industry. (Basically getting paid to fish and enjoy this beautiful scenery). While living in Duluth,  I obtained coast guard licenses for charting fishing on Lake Superior. My experience in the U.S. Army gave me the ability to change the landscape of the resort and R.V. park. It’s a rewarding family operation. Our family welcome all travelers. We hope you’ll stop by and see what the area we love has to offer.

Born in International Falls, I’ve had the fortune to be able to experience the vast amount of water in the area. My father taught me to appreciate the wilderness and its beauty. You can find  fishing, hunting, camping and everything in-between in Voyageurs National Park. As an adult, I spent most of my career in social services, never dreaming I would end up serving the public in another way. After retiring, I found myself back in the northland living and working side-by-side with my family at the Ash Riviera Resort. I’m proud of my husband, our son – who has taken over most of the responsibilities- and our daughter, who helps when she can. Our family welcome all travelers. We hope you’ll stop by and see what the area we love has to offer.

Bonjour! I am a French Teacher during the school year and I help out a little in the summer when I am not following my son’s baseball adventures. I enjoy traveling, baking and spending time with my 3 boys and family. We are in the process of adding a coffee shop with fresh bakery items. I am so excited to share my baking passion with you!
